people watching...yea, m a WIERDO

hi again....
so, where was i this long man...
ok...
i went to a trip with my parents on the first day of raya
to PD...
it was juz a day trip to relax and i was getting so scared and nervous for my interview results...
damn scared...

and what surprised me is that, many people made effort to make full use to spend the whole day with their family and friends...it was a very nice thing to see..
all come together, cook, eat, play and swim...
aaarrgghhh..this is the meaning of life man....

this is the hotel v spent our day at..actually, this is the hotel v used to stay if we come to PD...they have renovated this hotel now...previously, this hotel is known as Hotel Selat.

gosebumps on my neck...

finally the day came...
yes, i was called for an interview at Hilton KL...
the interview is for my internship which all the final year students have to go thru
when they finish their 2 1/2 year course at Nilai UC...




















5 people from Nilai UC were sent to train their skills,
and gain more knowledge from this prestigious hotel.
Elis, Jasmine, Janice, Sze Ting and Me arrived punctually at
KL central where we are all supposed to meet...

our interview was scheduled at 5.30pm on a friday...
wat a cool time and day to be interviewed...

soon, i was called into the room to put my competency to test,
n i was interviewed by Ms. Yvonne, Housekeeping Director

some of the questions asked to me..

  • are you physically fit to carryout your duty...
  • in housekeeping dept, u will be sent to room division, linen room, laundry and public area...will u be ashamed to perform ur job in the public area such as washing toilet?
  • tell me all abt housekeeping
  • what are ur experiences in this field
  • will u be able to clean 15 rooms withing 5 hours?
and there i was answering all this questions wondering why is she asking me all abt housekeeping...nah, the answer was directly at my face...
i was assigned to be a housekeeping trainee for 4 MONTHS...wat the heck.......

nvm...its ok...
nothing comes easy...
n my allowance is 200 per month and uniforms and meals are provided...
cool huh...eating hilton food...

at the end of the interview, i was notified that i will be informed next week if i am selected...


















i really want this job...pls....

and this is the hotel i went to again....














nice huh...juz imagine working as a housekeeper here...huh...

i can bet i can be slim afta this...
100% sure...

subway is juz opposite,
hub of entertainment
and
time to have fun.....

so, now, all i have to do is to pray hard, so dat i get a job here.,...

heyloooo....
m here blogging again as a person, whose's diploma life,
juz ended....

so, here i am,
at home...
looking up and down on wat to do...
wat a sad case...
after much thinking,

i rose up from bed,
with a determination...
what is it???
haha...
wanted to try out my mom's secret recipe...
ingi pulli (pickled ginger)

it was my granma's recipe actually...
and when i tried it,
it turned out more briliantly than i tot..

so, it will not be fair, if i never share the recipe...
so here it is....

Ingi Pulli (Ginger pickle)

Ingredients.
  • 1/2 cup gingerly oil (vegetable oil can be used)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 cups fresh young ginger
  • 1 cup fresh green chili
  • 1 cup fresh small rose onion
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup thick tamarind juice
  • 2 dried chili ( chopped finely)
  • salt and sugar (to taste)
  • curry leaves - 6 nos teared up
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Method
  1. heat oil in a wok.
  2. add mustard seeds till it sputters
  3. add in all chopped ingredients fry until fragrant
  4. add chilli powder. fry till well coated, add curry leaves
  5. add in the tamarind juice and simmer for 5 mins
  6. adjust the seasoning...the sweetness must not dominate this dish.
  7. cook till the dish does not stick to the ladle and a layer of oil forms.
  8. off the stove and cool completely before storing it in a tight tupperware.
  9. can keep for 2 weeks in refrigerator
  10. it is served as an accompaniment for hot white rice.
  11. the percentage of the flavor: 50% spicy, 20% sourish, 20% sweetness, 10% salty.

Sayonara Nilai UC - Part 1

Phew, i was raised in a modest small family with plenty of life value experience...
and soon after finishing schooling life, i was enrolled to Nilai International College (then).
ough experiences i had to face and all the lessons i had to learn, it was soon time to say BYE
life in a very new surrounding and environment even made me to tear up, but, i had my courage built into me in no time... then, i was blessed with beautiful friends who came in hand within few days of coll life..

after all the bitter sweet times i went thru, tough experiences i had to face and all the lessons i had to learn, it was soon time to say BYE BYE to this college...today m sitting here blogging the scent and spices of my diploma life within this 3 years.

if u notice, u can realize how sweet was my life over here...
n now, it has to come to an end...for a new chapter to start....
